Vertical wheel drive
In the multi-directional vertical electric drive wheels, the traction motor is located above the wheel, thus reducing the space required for steering. Quiet and efficient, they do not impose limits on the steering angle, improving driving times. They are available with PMAC/AC/DC motors, optimised for intermittent or continuous duty use, and offer ingress protection of up to IP66. Designed for low and high voltage, they are dedicated to traction on solid terrain, both indoor and outdoor.
CFR
Since 1979, CFR have been a benchmark in terms of quality and innovation in the battery electric vehicle and electric traction sector. CFR was founded in Modena, in the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley, over 40 years ago. In 1995 CFR acquired the company TVM, which is responsible for production of the group’s mechanical components, guaranteeing the quality and flexibility required to design and manufacture special components and motors to meet customer requirements.
